User & Device Layer
The consumer's mobile device is the origin of location and movement events. This layer distinguishes between device identity, user identity and permission scope.
Components observed
iOS or Android handset carried by the end user.
First-party or partner app that hosts the Movement SDK.
OS-level location permission scopes (foreground / background).
Primary source of high-accuracy coordinates outdoors.
Assists positioning indoors and in urban canyons.
Coarse positioning fallback and network context.
Where publicly documented, adds micro-location context.
Local time context used by downstream relevance logic.
Corresponds to the consumer device supplying location context in the patent architecture.
The distinction between anonymous, pseudonymous and identified users is not confirmed for every deployment and is treated as Further Technical Review Required.
